NVIDIA has officially entered the PC processor market with its N1X/N1 System-on-Chip, purposefully engineered for users running demanding on-device AI applications. Unlike traditional discrete GPUs, these SoCs integrate CPU and GPU capabilities on a single chip, reducing power consumption and latency—critical metrics for local LLM deployment.
